It's excellent.
My favorite time of year to fish.
Was in your boat about 4 years back lol. Hunting season started and fishing stopped....until someone took me for a fall river trip...SON!!! Never looked back and hunting has suffered due to it. They put the feed bag on and run with the bait fish up into the rivers. Try it and you'll be hooked.
plus little to no other boat traffic during the winter.
Fall can be even better than the spring.
Where do you find them in Fall? Shallow or deep. Or near spawning areas. Thanks
The answer can be all 3 places. They will move back up shallow in the fall.....but you can also find them deep and many times adjacent to spawning areas.Quote:

wilbur Oct and early Nov head back up your major feeder creaks into the lake. Bait fish will run far back in them, was in shallow water next to any stickup you can see. BG monkey milk did real good for me up there on a lite wire 1/16 head. Needed the lite wire hook for the snags.Quote:

Dang! Yea that is a little different lol. Sure others here has that type fishing that could help ya out, not fished any pits before.
