We decided to go to the lake and give the cranks a try. We fished about 4hrs and ended up with 8 keepers. Thank you Arkies for such a good crank bait.

how deep of water were you in and how deep were the fish? females with eggs ?
Sorry bout that guess I could of put a little more info. I fished in 16 fow was running cranks about 13' deep. Females did still have eggs in them. Best colors today was anything with white on it.
Im interested in trying cranks myself just trying to gain a little knowledge before attempting. I thought Summer time was the only time to use them , guess not. So if your fishing 16 fow and 13 ft down how much line do you let out and what speed are you going?Quote:
