THE EVIL EYE
Got the evil eye bigtime yesterday from a dock owner. Saw him watering his flowers and asked how he was doing, Response was get out of here you've wore out your welcome.
Spent a total of ten minutes there and got the stare and comments the entire time.
If your going to live on the lake you better get used to people fishing on PUBLIC water.

THE EVIL EYE
I had an incident with a dock owner one time yelling at me because I was going too fast and causing a wake by his dock. This was in a no wake zone and he was the only one that had a dock there. I was 100 yards from his dock and I wasn't causing a wake. He was just being an idiot. This was on a Saturday around 11 a.m. as I was going home from fishing. Now I usually put in to go fishing around 45 minutes before sunrise so the next morning when it was dark and while he was still asleep I got some payback. I was the only boat on the lake and I fired it up as fast as I could run and went within 20 yards of his dock and as soon as I got adjacent to it I turned away from it. The wake that hit his dock was so big it knocked lawn chairs off the dock into the water!

Not going to start damaging someones property, but there could be 5 or 6 boats anchored there real soon. Just saying.

I'll guess lake Lou Yeager.. apparently the dock owners think they own the water also.. I'm not throwing wakes at anyone, just fishing around their dock and have been confronted that I'm trespassing.. it's sad when you cant enjoy what you would think is a day a relaxing..

Sounds like Bird man's old buddy.

Is this guy north or south of the bridge?

Ever leave a hook in a dock. Ever think that some kid made a trip to the ER to have it removed. There are two sides to every story. Respect is a two way street. Swamping his dock only furthers his hate for boaters... and will ruin another boaters day as pay back...
I get the impression most of you have never lived on a lake, and I don't mean for a week... Like it or not, your a guest. You don't own the water either.. Nor do you own the dock. The dock IS PRIVATE PROPERTY... How many kids play baseball in your driveway?
