I put in at Adams Lake for a change Saturday, I wont to know how these guys fly around in these fiberglass boat out there. I was a nervous wreck scared I'd break off a transducer or my TM. Got one thump the hole time i was out there the rest of the time i spent watching for stumps as the wind was not being nice to me anyway
Those are long time Lake Conway fishermen and know just about where every stump is. I still think they are crazy and would not recommend doing this. You never know when a floater is going to be in a boat trail...

I was loosing all patience I had just driving between green and red still hit some nice cypress land mines
We plan to take care of this when we have the next draw down. We will hire a contractor with an under water stump cutter to make sure all of the trails are clear. We will also move some sections of trail that run to close to landowners banks, to eliminate these areas of no wake. We are not sure when the next drawdown will be, but hopefully not too much more down the road.Quote:
