Nine Days at Crescent

Just got back home today after spending a week at Crescent. I got to see many old friends and made some new ones. The first night started off with a fantastic supper that Talquin Maggie cooked. Country Fried Steak (Deer) and gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans was on the stove for Vic and Eileen, 65Pontiac and myself...Don't get no better than that!!
TM fished with me 3 or 4 days, fished with 65Pontiac 1 day and with Vic 3 days. We caught some great fish every day (Except tournament day:banghead). Talquin Maggie caught her 2 lber this year with a 2 lb 4 oz fatty. Thanks to Vic and Eileen and 65Pontiac for a great time at the lake and on the water....Here are a few pics from the week:

Last Sunday, we fished Dead Lake area and decided to eat lunch at Bull Creek Fish Camp. There were cars and a bunch of bikes in the parking lot and just a few boats tied up at their docks. We docked and went in and sat down to order. To our surprise, there was a bunch of "Bikers" in there and I don't believe there was a single one of them that was under the age of 65 years old. I thought that was pretty cool!! Then we looked out side where the boats were docked and here comes a plane on the water and parks with the boats!!

That got a little attention from the customers at the restaurant to say the least....Then another plane comes idling on the water but there wasn't anywhere for him to park, so he proceeds to use the boat ramp and taxi into the parking lot...What a different sight to see.

Really nice fish. Congrats to TM on the 2lb. Looks like a lot of excitement at the ramp. fyi--Tavares has named itself SEAPLANE CAPITAL.Put in docks for em,end of Lake Dora. LOT OF 1 SEATERS MADE HERE.TRYING TO SPIDDER RIG OUT OF ONE. LOL.
