Will the money from the fines if ever paid help the veterans?

I wonder if those guys will ever pay even 10% of the fine? I hope so, but I doubt it.

All they had to do was make a sizable contribution to a couple of politicians and this will all go away.

Sentence them to 20 minutes in the middle of the Parade Field on Ft. Campbell during a Full Command Review. Have the Commander introduce them and then the entire Command Platform turn their backs for about 5 minutes. Problem solved. The money is still gone but we wouldn't have to pay for their incarceration.
