Several years ago my in-laws built a big new house. Their electrician installed a pair of boxes like yours to run all the circuits they wanted. Shortly after they moved in, my mother-in-law called in a panic. One of their brand new ceiling fans had come loose and was hanging by the wires. I rushed over there, threw open both the boxes and THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE LABEL on any circuits. I threw a fit but started throwing breakers till I found the correct one. They po-poed it off and continued to use him for some spec houses they built afterwards. I wouldn't let him near my property. I truly think he and the electrical inspector were in cahoots.
Code requires the circuits to be labeled. I label my home runs inside the panel as well so even with the cover off, you can tell which circuit is which at a glance.Quote:
