You know you feel bad..............

.....when it is Easter weekend, your buddies have tried to talk you in to going to the lake, and you are sitting in your business surfing fishing forums. I came back from 6 weeks of torture in SEMO in weather an Eskimo would love with what was 1st diagnosed as bronchitis then left lung pneumonia. This has gone on for almost 3 weeks and I'm keeping CVS pharmacy financially solvent with all the antibiotics/meds I have taken. I am yet to set foot in a boat all year. I did get mine out of the garage on one of my better days, hooked up the hose muffs, ran it for a couple of minutes (neighbors loved than I'm sure), cleaned out about 25 crankbaits that were hung in the carpet, respooled some spare reels and mounted them on my new Pinnacle rods for planer boards, then pushed the boat back into its resting spot.

I'm really tired of feeling like death warmed over. The weather report for next week looks like it will be a good time to get over this crap.

Good luck to all who are out there wearing them out. I'll be out there with a vengeance soon, hopefully. Thanks to all the Crappie.com members who have called and came by to check on me.

I'm in my second month of recovering from Shingles, worse thing I ever went through.

Dux ... I lost most all of last Summer's fishing to Acute Bronchitis, then Necrotic Pneumonia, then a massive blood clot in my lung ... so, yeah, I know the feeling. And thanks to all the snow & rain, it's been since Oct since I've even been on the water ... and don't look too promising in the near future, since I'm helping take care of my 87yo Mom.

I feel for ya, my friend ... and hope you get well & back on the hunt !!
