Grenada information
Been wanting to fish Grenada for some time now and don't know anything about it. Looking for info on the best time of the year to fish there. The wife and I go to Florida every year for 3 months and fish mostly at Crescent lake. We catch a lot of big crappie and release all of them. I've heard a lot about Grenada and the big fish that are caught there. I've put Grenada on my bucket list and am looking for some help on the best times and techniques to use. Also where to stay for a week of fishing. Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Grenada information
Best way to figure out the lake for the time of year that you'll fish it is to hire a guide for a day. They will be cheaper in the long run apposed to you spending most of your time figuring it out. JH guide Service, Vic Finkley, Brandon Fulgham are all competent guides at Grenada. There are lots of others also. Hard part will be booking one that isn't full.

Month of April is usually good, March can be but most of the time it is messed up, 15 degrees here this morning. Hambones is a good place to stay and close to a lot of good fishing water, (662) 458-3197.

Don';t need a guide. Just bring your boat down, ride around and enjoy the lake. You'll see the other boats, just jump in the middle of them and do what they are doing

Or just ask all the guys on here that fish it all the time! Be more than happy to share any information that I can give!

Seems to always be a push to folks to get guides. LOL kickbacks? hehe

Gettin a guide for a day on a new lake is a great way to get a lot of info quick, have done it myself before,

I just like to check the lake out on my own. Just me though. I do the same on the coast now that I have a boat. get a couple of reports and go have fun looking around. That's half the fun of it

DD , i agree, but some folks with limited time wana get on fish and patterns quick, for them a guide is a great option
