Went north on Friday with the plan to do some perch fishing with my dad. Plans changed when I heard of wind chills in excess of -26. Got there on Friday and it started snowing. And Snowing. And Snowing.
We went to dinner. Still snowing.
Got up in the Morning. Still snowing, and blowing gail force to 50. By saturday afternoon, Mason county was in lockdown. There were abondoned vehicles everywhere (including in front of my dad's house). Mason County deputy was stranded in his vehicle for 7 hours. It was not a good sight.
I came home Sunday with no new snow at my house (thank the lord). Just cold, cold, and more cold. I'm ready for spring, or summer... and I don't say that too often

Was snowing pretty good when I left for work this morning at 5:30. Still snowing good at 09:30. Still going at noon. Finally see the sun at 13:30. At least we are fairly accustomed to this kind of stuff...unlike our Crappie.com friends down in TN and MS who just learned what a snow shovel is all about.

what no snow ??
Hey Billbob, how are you? Ya we had snow, about 2 ". We got about 12" here at home.
Boy, with temps forecast in the upper 50's around here next week, almost makes you hang up the shovel. Alas, this is Michigan tho.
Yup, just when you think mother nature is giving us a treat, she will jump up and sucker punch you right in the plans you made!
