Anybody use the go-pro and happy with it
Once in a while a go pro vid will pop up on the Fl page. But not very often. Might try posting on main page, or ask on the microskiff forum. Lots of them guys have em. Prolly cause it is dang hard to catch fish in slot and season at same time. Gotta have something to show for the extreme high $$$'s they payin for some of them skiffs I reckon.
Wife bought me one Christmas 2013 and have not used much. With that said, just started working on a project... we will see how that goes.
Not real pleased with mine. Use it rarely. I've posted about it here before, you can follow these threads: http://www.crappie.com/crappie/main-...a/#post2635947
And my latest feedback is not good either. I just tried this, this week. It has an app (with the wifi backpack) so you can view the screen shot through your iphone. I wanted to put it under water, and start the camera once I seen a fish. But the wifi disconnects once you put the camera under the water. Thought I finally found a perfect use, and it din't work out that way. Not liking the thing.
Which one do you have Slab? I have looked into it a little as I already have too many things to occupy my time. Best reviews I've found, without just going to buy the one that you want and really hurt a credit card is the Hero 3+. I want to shoot some video while pulling cranks alone this summer and my current cam doesn't have too wide a lens, and it's can't be changed.
I have the Hero2 and the Fuji XP60. Wasn't sure which one you were asking me about.
I have the Hero3+ and love it. It takes very good quality videos for me. I also have a Muvi hd camcorder. They are a little cheaper than the Go Pro. Have not had a chance to try it out yet. The Muvi camcorder is not as versatile as the Go Pro, but from the little I have used it's not a bad little camcorder.
I love mine and use it all the time. I don't use it all that much for fishing, though, and my use under water is limited to diving offshore. I lug it all over, though, and it takes a beating. Very durable and reliable.
Thanks for the input guys!
