You might have a wiring problem. The GPS might not be getting the signal
That maybe so it comes on for about 5 seconds and then shuts off I tried to relink it and also check the battery with no resultsQuote:

You probably need to talk to Brian at BBG it might not be your remote if the battery in the remote is good and it still is losing contactCheck to see if the green light on the troll motor is going out when it looses contact or if the voltage is dropping I was having problems with mine and found out it was one of the trolling motor batteries and not the remote changed both batteries and the problem went away BY THE WAY I love my I Pilot on track record for spider rigging I don't ever use the footpad any more.
