Here we go !

After a long and slow process of eliminations we have a date set for the Round 2 N.C./ S.C. Challenge. I tried to count the votes but it got over 6 so I was lost. Anyhow. Looks like Nov. 1 and a night stalk has won the toss. Hope nobody gets offended by the vote but the majority has spoken. Sorry it had to be such short notice but time aint on our side this go round. Now the way it will work is 7 biggest fish wins the state trophy for this round. There must be at least one fish from each team fishing for that state weighed in.There will be a seperate prize for biggest crappie no matter which state it is from. If anyone wants to donate a prize for other things please post it . We will fish from 7:00 p.m. till 1:00 a.m. Weigh in will begin at 1:30. I if you aint at the ramp by then your fish wont count. We will put in at Buster Boyd Ramp again as last time. If ya want to meet and eat like last time speak up and work it out. Hope we get a good turnout for round 2. Lets go fishin.

Aint hearing a lot of hooya out there? We hope ya'll just keepin low key so as not to disturb newly. He will be missin out on his beauty sleep Sat. night. And we all know he needs all he can get. But put on your wooly socks and long undies and come on out. Dont let a bit of chilly temps cause ya to miss a good night fishin. Am hearing from several good crappie catchers that the night bite is hot right now. I know I am gonna have my heater fired up to stay warm while I catch 3 or 2 dozen bigguns. Come on out ! Iffin ya aint skeered that is !

I was looking forward to a re-match, but I ain't gonna be able to make this one:mad: My wife and I have made plans to go to our place at the coast to shut it down for the winter and try to live up to my screen name and see if the spot are runnin!!! I guess we will be packing our wooly socks and long johns for a cold nite of fishing on the pier. Hope all of ya'll catch a big mess of those slabs, and hope we can catch a mess of spots. Will be looking forward to the next time. Ofishbizzness and Big Dawg can have my share of Uncle Newly's KK doughnuts. Sorry again we will not be there to help NC fight for the chance of bragging rights. Go North Carolina :fish team show em sand lappers how it is done!!!!

Someone was asking bout a bait shop near Buster Boyd Ramp for Sat. I think this is the correct one. We got bait there last Challenge. I would call about the hours of operation though. Hope to see a bunch of cold weather fishin fans Sat for Round 2 of N.C. / S.C.Challenge. Ya asked for a fall fish off , well here it is.
