Just curious if its possible to go from carpet to vinyl or vinyl-like... Got a 2011 Tracker PT190. What do you estimate such an endeavor would cost?
Thanks!

Sounds slicker than wet goose crap.
I have marine vinyl in both my boats, they came new that way. It is nonnskid pebble finish and I would never have carpet again.
This is on the new 190 at bass pro.

MY WAR EAGLE CAME WITH VINYL ON FRONT DECK AND REAR FLOOE NEAR THE SEATING AREA . WOULD NEVER CHNGE TO CARPET . IT IS NOT SLICK , EVEN WET .Attachment 174442
I like the idea of the vinyl but does it get hot? I like to go barefoot in the boat!
Only bad thing about my war eagle vinyl is that it's starting to peel on some of the edges.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the vinyl. I do a ton of kneeling in the boat whether it is on big water or the river. I have an 8 year old too. The Vinyl isn't as comfortable on the knees and the little one likes to lay in the boat. Just not as much comfort in that regard. Otherwise, it cleans up nice.
Some boat manufacturors don't even have carpet anymore. Nor will they get my business either.
I would look into Seadeck as well. That stuff is the best of both worlds.
