I spoke to a lady at Ozark Rod Co., and she told me there no distributors in La. I had been buying mine in Henderson, but when they went out of business, that was it. Like you, the internet is not my favorite option. Grizzly Jig, dealt with directly or thru EBAY will probably work ok.

Also researched and saw Grizzle.com as well, guess I'll have to order one.
As an alternative I was considering trying a Tournament Choice from Academy. They are only about $22, but they seem too light a action for 10 feet.

No, but the Academy here sells the Bucks UL w/ rear reel seat in 10' & 11'. My go to rod for jiggin'. Very sensitive and never tires the ol arm.
I was talking to treefrog and he mentioned a brand called pro angler tackle. said their rods were supposed to be lighter and tougher than any rod on the market. just bought me 2 ten footers, but haven't gotten my mitts on them yet. I will let yall know what I think when I test drive them. I also bought last year a couple of todd Huckabee rods. they are very nice. light and enough back bone to horse out a 2 pounder. but they are kinda pricy. but you get what you pay for. anyway--just thought I would throw my 2 cents into the ring. lol

I own and have tried them all......I like the 11 ft. B and M Double Touch Duck Commander the best.....its around 70 bucks but worth it.

Well first off....Its a B and M......It has a nice cork handle....it has a rear reel seat but has a short stub handle behind the reel in case you want to put it in a rod holder while you are pouring coffee or something....It was designed by LA folks ( some of the Duck Commander staff). It has chartreuse markings every 12 inches to measure length of line out. It has two cut outs in the handle so you can rest a finger directly on the rod blank for a better feel of things. It is graphite....it balances great....it is very light. It is also very sensitive and you can feel the slightest bite. I am using a Mr. Crappie SOLO Jig Pole reel and the balance is fantastic.
"G" that does sound like a good pole, but part of that $70.00 probably pays for the Duck Commander name. That would be my guess.
