I know sometimes a little flash helps, so what about a color combo leaving some of the chrome still visible? Tape off a stripe in the mid section, a stripe from nose to tail? Or from top to bottom? Or leave the tail unpainted to flash? Just trying to change it up a little

Can't hurt to try. Something a little different might be the ticket.

Try it....if you don't have any luck with it you can always repaint it....that's whats great about doing your own painting....you can experiment

Black, blue, yellow chartruse, or green chartruse stripe down back fading over the side a little. Might put a little orange on front of belly, leaving the chrome sides for flash. Looks like you got plenty to play with.

I got 50 guinea pigs to play with, plan to do 2 to 4 in different combos. I want to have some with just bottom 1/2 one color, some just top and side. I am curious if the top paint is just to catch fishermen so to speak
-
Don't think so. Seen to many times where that top color made all the difference on Green carp and Crappie. Look real close at minnows and Shad, you can see hose different shades on their backs depending on light and watercolor.

True, I've had chart not catch em and the chart black back wear em out...

Let us see how they turn out.

What speed will you have to run those to get the best wobble and rattle?I would say paint back and belly and leave long flash strip down it's sides. Put a small spot of red on it on under belly!
