moved to Picayune

howdy hi there friends and neighbors, CrappieDan here, i have moved to picayune and would like to get together with a crappie hunter down here to show me just how things are done down south. This is a whole new ball game down here, hot & sticky.....hoping things will be better when the humidity is not at 88%, one thing is for sure Ya need to take a towel with ya @ all time's here is my cell # (254-485-9198) but you will have to text me, phone service is week until AT&T sends me my microcell booster next week. hope to here from ya......and as always y'all "have a crappie day"

That's a long way from big crappie waters and most folks who are on this forum. I do know they catch some at Little Black Creek water park in Purvis. I bet their is some good river fishing in places like the Pascagoula, Biloxi, and Pearl Rivers

I HAVE SPENT MOST OF MY TIME CHECKING OUT GOOGLE MAPS AND YES THERE IS A-LOT OF WATER DOWN HERE,NOW I JUST NEED TO FIND SOMEONE THAT LIKES TO GO AS MUCH AS I DO. I'VE BEEN FISHING WITH 4THETHUMP OUT OF ROSS BARNETT FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS. FISHED MY FIRST CRAPPIE TOURNAMENT THIS PAST SPRING, IT WAS THE NCO ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE , MISSISSIPPI NATIONAL GUARD AND I HAD A BLAST WON BIG FISH & 3RD PLACE OVERALL. IT WAS FUN :)

I lived in Picayune for a while. I did all my fishin on the East Pearl River. I did all my fishin just south of Stennis Space center. Crappie fishin is really good.

Been wondering where you've been Dan. You'll find a good fishing hole down there.

My brother in law is the youth and music minister at new palistine baptist church in picayune. I know he does not do much fishing but i believe the pastor of the church does. I dunno if you are a church goer or not but im sure they would love to see a new face.

howdy Maj... yea i move down here,it's nice down thisA way,still exploring the area.got a good tip from feeshrman & hunter7711 , i've spent a lot of time on google map finding boat ramp, found two today 1 on the Pearl Rvr & 1 on the jordan Rvr. WANTED TO THANK YA FOR THE REPLY hunter, i pulled up my google map and checked out your tip on the east pearl river , found the boat ramp, looks like it would be a good spot. I'm going up to Missouri to help out a lady FRIEND of mine and will be up there for the next two weeks. i will surely check out your tip when i get back. you said you used to live down this way....so where is your home lake now. I'M on a disability but not Disabled, and i'm always look to tag along when i get the chance. I live in St. Joe, MO now. Moved back to take care of my mother. One more tip about the East Pearl. Stay above the interstate, as far as that goes stay above the channel entrance to Stennis. I know Ken, nice guy.
