Yesterday I had a great day fishing with my family. Except for the tangles, lost crank baits, 200' of line and a 14'titeline with a brand new okuma. So if anyone finds any of this stuff that'd be great. We at Sardis

Dang it Son
How the heck you lose a pole?
I wasn't pay attention and my nephew set it on the transport rack unstrapped. I wanted to cry. I figure yesterday was a $150 trip.
If you know where it went overboard, you may be able to snag it with a snagging hook or as a buddy did a couple years ago a big jigging spoon. Took about 45 minutes bust as he said $100 reel and $200 rod, I just had to try. OTOH last fall I caught a rod and reel in 25 FOW on a jigging rap. one hook in the level wind and one on the foam grip. Lure on the combo was still intact, Reel was shot (I wish I could have gotten it working) Rod, is clean after soaking in lime-away for 2 months.
I would say get it quick once them barnacles or whatever that crusty stuff was starts attacking, it takes forever to clean it up.
Sorry for your loss, but be positive. Time for a new combo!
Hate to hear that. Get slabin to go diving for it in his speedo! Maybe that is why you did not call me back. You were to distraught!!
That sux......I know it's only pocket change for a Dapper Dan, movie star, jet set, high roller like yourself. You should cut the ingrate nephew out of your WILL......that'll teach him, and will also have the rest of the famn damily paying attention to you from now on.
Thanks Steve but ordered a replacement Thursday. I hope it's there when I get home.
