Bream and more

Well after getting a good night sleep from chasing them thunder chickens, I told lil bit she could stay home and we would go fishing for the day. We got to the reservoir and the fishing was red hot. I sat back and baited lil bits hook after hook and took so many fish off that I will be dreaming of fish tonight. She learned that if ya squeeze them bull gills that they will pee on ya. Got several ear fills when I wasn't looking so I got her a few times my self lol. Attachment 162052

After running out of crickets we fished the arkie black and chart jig 1/32 head under a cork. They ate anything we threw at em.Attachment 162055

We dodged several thunderstorms today too.

Nice catch. I'm jealous lil bit. Nimrod lake is too high to find the Bluegills yet.:biggrin

Now that is a really good day and the little one's smile says it all. great job!

Shewww and the best part of being Lil Bit is getting to watch Dad clean all those. WTG!!! Lil Bit.

Cain't nuthin beat a bluegill beatdown. I'd be tickled to clean everyone of those.

Great catch. The eatin is worth the cleanin. I filleted 30 of em Saturday and cooked em for Mother's day. mmmmm good.

Man, thats Awsome. JW, Some day your gonna have to get that kid to teach you how to do that! Again, love how you always have a catfish to use as a backboard to hold all them bream up there! Good catch little bit!

There's nothing like watching the kids catching them blue gills good times congrats!
