Good Friday
Today while reflecting on Jesus ultimate sacrifice, I got to fishing again with my good buddy Chris (Cmj). Chris has gone out of his way to show me the ropes on Conway. Thanks man!

We battles the beastly east winds from sun up till sun down. We fished the trees literally all over the lake. We only manages 16, with 14 good ones. He caught more than me (as usual) but he said that I caught the two biggest. I will take that any day! Most were males but we did find a few females.

We also caught 3 channel catfish over 5 pounds, and 2 good bass. Let me tell you, those crappie were hard earned. Fishing Lake Conway can be tough and some days are really tough.

I've fished Conway a few times and it is not very friendly to Crappie fisherman according to where I've fished. Good job on the good fish.

Had a great time hanging out and sharing the water with you, matt. No doubt those fish were hard-earned today. Makes a guy feel good when he can scratch out a good mess on a tough day, on an even tougher lake. But getting to watch an Eagle stalk it's prey, an Osprey gather material for it's nest, and spend the day talking about faith and cracking jokes with a great friend, that's what its all about.
