another reason to apply sunscreen

Spent today with a guy whittlin' on my face. What looked like a little skin cancer next to my eye ended up like an iceberg with most submerged. More like a small bush with a big root system. Tomorrow will be spent with a surgeon replacing the divot. I figured I would be back selling carpet by about 10. Instead I will be lucky to make it back by Friday. Hope it doesn't mess up my George Clooney looks.

My message is to not think you are too tough to use sunscreen. They said I was heading to loosing that eye. Looked innocent to me but like that duck sitting still on the river. Calm on top but working like hades underneath.

My mom lost her battle with melanoma at the young age of 53. It took her within 2 short years of diagnosis, this stuff is nothing to fool with. Be careful, and pay close attention to this!

Glad you got it looked at. I lost a very good friend from that. He lost his eye and alot of bone around it because he wouldn't go to the doctor. It took him getting knocked out with a golf ball to go to the doctor. He was standing to close to the Tee box and someone mi**** the ball. Hit him in the head and knocked him out cold

I wish you luck with that. I've been fighting it for about ten years now. Sun screen, long sleeves and pants, full bream hats.
