They grow up fast
Haven't been on the site near as often as I used too. Starting a second career, training and all associated with it has kept me busy. Still love pulling in slabs! Today is My sons 20th birthday and I couldn't help but look through some old fishing pics we had. Since it's so cold out I thought I'd share. He's been the best fishing partner even though we don't get to fish near as often anymore. For those of you who commented on Facebook, thanks for the remarks. He's a knot head at times, but a good boy.....I mean, man now. Attachment 152436Attachment 152437

Hey, Brad ... good to see you posting, again. I saw where you put the new boat pic up on the Main Forum .... Niiiiice looking rig !!
You don't look old enough to have a 20yr old son, and he don't look 20yrs old, either  (but, I am looking through the eyes of a 65yr old geezer, so .... )
Hope you get a chance to attend some of this year's functions. Tell your boss you're doing undercover work, infiltrating a bunch of gewbers & geezers & miscreants, to check on the legality of their activities :Rofl
And remember ... he may be a "man" to the rest of the world, but he'll always be your "boy" !!
... cp :kewl

Nice pics, I know what you mean about fishing with your son! Years ago I started a fishing log and wrote down most of the information about my son and my fishing trips. I still go back and read those from time to time. A lot of good memories!

Good read, nothing like fishing with your son or viceversa....

I tell my kids all the time that I'll take them while they're young but one of these days when I get old they're gonna have to take me! BTW they do grow up real fast.

Brad its good to see you have him fishing. My daughters used to fish with me all the time till they got in college, then came marriage & now I have I have some new fishing partners. The 11 year old boy is now eat up with fishing, he plans on spending spring break at ky lake with me instead of going to fla with his sister and mom. I had to tell him tonite that I won't be able to fish the march 15 tourney but would be down to the lake right after & he would be able to still be there for spring break. We still plan to fish some of the fruit jar tourneys. The other thing is now his mom wants to start fishing again. Teach the kids well and they will come back with extras.

Memories will last a lifetime:) My son use to fish with me when he was younger but I ruined him staying to long when the fish weren't biteing. Eighteen and a senior in high school and cant get him to go with me now for love or money. I will always cherish the times we did have on the water, at least he does go hunting with me still. By the way those are some nice feesh...
