Makes me want to throw up just looking at it.
That is sick.
A bobber watchers nightmare.
This is why you shouldn't by food from other countries.
But at least they do not have to "put up with" the EPA or pesky Government agencies like that...so, let`s get rid of the EPA so YOUR favorite river or stream can look like this ! and the crap on top is not the `worst` of it; very likely it`s what is actually IN the water you do not`see` that is the real problem...
Been there. I didn't see this river, but, it was pretty bad about 20 years ago where I did go. I saw ditches coming from huts/houses that drained to bigger ditches by the road which led to a river or creek where people were bathing. Pretty disgusting indeed. The industries that polluted with the toxins use outdated technology. Guess where USA jobs go. Third world countries like this without the regulations. They need some LT's in their lives. I will admit, I had a different veiw of the tree huggers when I came home.
What do ya do?

Wouldn't happen over here, our industries are way too responsible and the general public too community minded:rolleyes:
I know it would be hard to get enough people on the band wagon but if we as responsible consumers were to pick one country and refuse to buy any food from that country perhaps others would wake up and and help to stop the import of foods from countries that let this type of thing happen.
I would hope education and the "right thing to do" would prevail with our modern day industries in the USA. I remember when the Houston ship channel was completely dead due to all of the crap in the water. When I was in Indonesia (20 years ago) and other SE Asian countries, the smog and skyline reminded me of the Houston skyline when I was a kid.
