Fluorocarbon

Learned yesterday that fluorocarbon line doesn't get along with iced up guides. Lost 3 good fish before I could net them yesterday. Any opinions?

Braid! !!!!!!

Try spraying your line with Pam. Seems to prevent a lot of icing.

Braid and WD-40!!

definitely wouldnt go with braid when jig fishing!!!! jmo!!!

I never have trouble with Berkly Vanish Flourocarbon line. nonono How was you losing the fish ?:scratchhead I seldom use a net either.:twocents

One broke at the jig and the other 2 broke at the end of pole 10' from jig. 10' ozark rear seat rod can't hardly lift 2lb fish into boat with it

try using vicious floro, its the toughest out there and i lift 3-5 lbd drum in with it no problem, Russ keeps telling me im gonna break my pole, but its in the technique of swinging em in as well, Vicious!!!!!!! The name says it all!!!!!

I use 8 lb Berkly Vanish Flourocarbon on 11' Ozarks forward seat and ask Bowhunter what he has seen. Gar 4.5 feet long , large German Carp , and 23 lb Drum landed on it. I will swing small fish (2 lbers ) in with no net. You need to check eyes to see one is not cracked causing abrasion or when did you change it last ? What line and weight are you using anyhow ?

Thanks for info guys. I spooled with Berkeley fluoro I'll try the Visious. Haven't been using these rods long, love them I guess I'm still learning their limits.
