New old kid/texas
Grew up in cotton patch/rice field..Danevang ,tx fished every canal ,ditch,,creek,pond within walking dist..Perch /cats /carp/gar...Duck and goose hunted too..Saltwater was 30m away so when dad had time we went to Palacios /Matagorda ..Went to Navy /Vietnam/Alcoa/Celanese chemical/retired..Most travel to Mrs Kin folks in Victorville ,calif/ Sun City, ariz /Mineral Point,Wis..and most places between ......Spent couple years at Canyon Lake ,tex..We live within 30 miles of Sargent/Matagorda/Palacios texas...So its been Salt/salt/salt so we gona/ try to convert to maybe 50% freshwater with your help..THX cva34

Welcome from Louisiana. Don't know a thing about where you are, but Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn Lake offer plenty of acre's of freshwater.
