...I fished many days with ice freezing in my guides on Cumberland & the Big South Fork. Imma wantin to go real bad but 30 years later, I don't think my fingers would work so well in this polar vortex kinda heat.

I know the feeling (or lack of). 2 cervical fusion surgeries and 3 fused vertebrae made sure of that.
Beautiful pic. Most of my days with ice in the guides were in green carp tournaments in GA or chasing slabs in mid-winter on KY Lake.

The cold really doesn't bother as much as the heat, but yes my hands don't work as well in it as they once did. If I had the (quality) clothes when I was young that I do now you wouldn't have been able to keep me off the lake.
Well maybe with all this cold were having, we will have an early spring,unlike last year.
