No permit needed. If you are referring to Greers, the Corps and us have our annual habitat project planed for the end of this month. Hopefully there will be some trees left for us to sink with our dump barge.:biggrin
Thanks!!!
D10 , are you using the dump boat COE has at Dardanelle? The thing was built for Nimrod but it was not used.
No, we (AGFC) have our own dump barge that is normally kept in the Hot Springs area. We manage to sneak it over here in the winter time for a couple of weeks of work on Greers every year. Here are some pictures from last year's project.

I have see the barge you are talking about. The last I heard, it was out of commission. I think this is it. It didn't quite have the same carriing capacity as our barge.

What's the chance to get a rebuild set up on Nimrod Lake's COE piles ? They need rebuilding except for the 4 we redid a couple years ago.
Unfortunately Nimrod is out of my district. It is in D-9. I would contact Bob Limbird or Frank Leone at the AGFC Russelville Regional Office. They are the biologists in that district. You may also contact the USACE at Nimrod. The habitat projects we do on Greers is a collaborative effort with the USACE office at Greers . Luckily we have a good working relationship with them.
Thats one heck of a machine
I need one of them puppy's !!!!
Mercy me and a biscuit.
I have NO idea what I'd do with such a boat, but my o' my DO I WANT ONE!!!!
Course, I'd paint a blue Playboy bunny caricature on that platform, first thing!!!
