Would like some input on accomadations at Sardis. Seems like most of the local motels are 2 or 3 star. Are they rundown or what? Are there cabin rentals?

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Batesville, nice, but I didn't take my boat there. Parked the boat at a friend's house.
I think JW KyleState Park there has cabins
Chickasaw Hills at Sardis 662-801-5034
Hambones at Grenada not sure on the numbers tho. will see if I can find it.

The two motels at Sardis are old and the local inhabitants are known to pilfer. I usually recommend either the State park cabins on the cheap. Chickasaw cabins if you have it in your budget or one of the chain hotels in Batesville.
