"G" s day at the lake
I got my mailman to take off and go with me today. Was a little windy this morning so we ducked into a cove to get out of it. Started marking fish on the FF right away so we started pulling cranks. Very slow bite today, we caught 17 crappie with only 8 keepers but the keepers were nice. Caught several stripes also which we threw back with the short fish. Varied depth.....changed colors etc. nothing seemed to help but we as always still had a good time on the water....beats working any day lol. Attachment 132231 Attachment 132232

Was a tough day for me as well. The weather made up for it though. Almost August and never broke a sweat today, unreal! Frustrating when you know they are there but they just won't bite.

Hope you left some for us on saturday. We will be in front of the red roof 20-25 ft of water.
