That was the way it was for me when I first joined and still is. Slab used to have a few problems keeping it up and running. I would go through withdrawals. I don't get to fish like I once did. But, I can find plenty of advice, reports, someone to be my friend, or someone to argue with all right here.
It is a way of life and I and glad Slab is living the American dream for it.

Though my situation is some different, I deal with a lot of solo time myself. CDC has changed the way I fish and look at fishing.
