Great first solo trip
Well just wanted to try a solo trip running crank baits so i pulled a handi trip and left at 330 this morning for the lake with my wife. We had a great trip catching some really nice fish. We had 6 poles out with 4 pulling and 2 pushing. We caught 1/3 of our fish pushing. The fish were spotty but stacked when we ran through them. We had 6 on at one time and managed to get em all in lol. Not a bad day with only two clusters fuzzssss. Thanks to all that helped give pointers and tips and shared your knowledge. Saw big easy at the ramp and he even helped my wife back the trailor down as she was
Things i learned today:
1. Let wife pick all color of cranks cause she picked the pretty ones and they all caught fish.
2. Using mono was easier to untangle than braid.
3. Even with a fish counter recount your fish before getting the last one in the box because when the chinese fire drill is going on miss count can happen and better to be safe.
4. Check your trolling batteries for water cause they will go dead in a few hours without water.
5. Catfish are a pain to get in lol
Scottv your pushin rig worked awesome!
Tight lines and thanks again all.
