I don't know anything about the side imaging units or how to read them. Is that a shot of a 3 lb crappie at Poinsett?
look at this way looking to the left or right at night with a spot light and you shine the light on what looks to a log on the left side if look at it you can see a shadow on the back side of the log same on the right side with the humps or rocks you see the shadow on the back side it would be the same with a big rock pile brush pile stump a tree and so on just think of it as you are standing down their on the black line looking to the right or left hope this helps you out
I repeat the question. How long is the pole I was using. The answer is in the pic. :Rofl Come on SI guru's show your stuff. Another piece of info that may help, boat is a wareagle 542. Transducer is mounted on the transom, port side.
You weren't using a pole because there is no way you can do three things at once. You were watching the graph, you were taking a picture and your wife was fishing. She was using a 10 foot pink Ozark.
:Rofl I wasn't needing the brand and color, even though the pink Ozark is a beauty. You may can catch a whole buncha great big fish, kill deer that have horns that would cradle a 350 Chevrolet engine (everyone needs to notice the background of those crappie pics taken in the garage), and kills turkeys that you would hate to run across in a dark alley at night, but you missed this one.:biggrinI am surprised that you didn't tell me the location of the pic. Come on you SI guru's show your stuff.
8ft
I have never seem a SI unit before and know very little but I'm gonna guess 12 ft. I say that bc the structure on the left is a little over 10 ft.
I'm kinda like htr2133. If you're fishing, you gotta be fishing cover on the left or right and it looks to be maybe 15 feet to the left and 14 feet to the right. You'd have to be fishing a 14 foot pole or you wouldn't be anywhere near the cover. So my guess is 14 foot, prolly slow trolling past both pieces of cover between them. But what do I know! :dono
