Proud for you, I quit a long time ago. I know how hard it is. Congrats on the new lease on life!
oh, don't get me wrong, i could smoke a pack this evening with no problem, but when the doc said quit or die as i laid in the ICU at meth g'town it didn't leave any options. that was the only thing that could have made me quit. i loved a good smoke and can relate to those that struggle with it.
CONGRATS ! :HandsClapping fought that battle 12 yrs. ago . My brother had the heart attack ,I quit . He still smokes this day ! go figure .
I had a dream so vivid that my girlfriend was laying in a oxygen tent dying of cancer from smoking and both her children were there crying when she passed. I have never had a dream like that ever! Made me quit for sure. She still smokes even after I told her about it. Everybody has to decide when it's time and now is yours! Congrats!:ThumbsUp
not to scare you and maybe to scare you but my dr told me when i quit, "if you make it 12 years without developing anything you are pretty much home free." i quit probably 22 years ago. most stupid thing a person can do.
