Another Good Day

Hit the river this morning with my father-in-law(Bass fisherman.) I have been trying to get him into Crappie fishing for a while without much luck. After lots of bragging, I finally talked him into going, but the Crappie weren't cooperating. :banghead Fortunately, the Bass were and he got his first Kentucky double, one was right 2 1/2lbs.

After lunch, we loaded up and hit another one of my favorite Crappie holes. Ended up catching some good ones trolling blk/chrt Jokers tipped with a minnow in 8 FOW. I think I made a Crappie fisherman out of him, he is already talking about our next trip!!

We did some vert. jigging too. That's how he caught the double. That made the trip for him.
