You prolly dont need but a 6 foot one, call Sammy, he has put a couple on.
I had Performance marine in sardis put one on mine. Don't cheap out...get a Hamby.
You just order them according to the size of your boat. Put mine on myself, nothing to it. Keel guard or keel shield, both are good. I've seen both used and GDG and I have installed several.
Actually, this one time, I say cheap out...sorta. On your boat, your not ever going to see 40 mph, so, I'd go with the Hamby's self install. It's higher than the other two, but thicker than either. Probably about sub $200. Directions on the box. Follow them to a T. Take your time and have a buddy to help. Takes about 1.5 hours to install and must sit at least 24 before it gets wet. Put one in my Stratos and ran for 3 years with no issues.
The catch is, if it ever comes off, it will take a good 10 hours to remove and reinstall...that's why Feelay says get the dealer installed Hamby's. but that starts at $400 and probably more like $6. 10 footers are even higher, but I'll guess about $4-5 for your boat and a 6 footer.
Ps, you are ugly.
Wannabe...
U gona fix the hole first , or just cover it up with the guard...lol
I've had mine on for at least 6 years with no problems. My rig runs pretty fast and I regularly pull it onto concrete ramps. I think I paid $100.00-115.00 for it,can't remember exactly.
I had a hamby installed by tracy....kinda steep, 700 bucks.
Mine would just have to get scratched before I spent $700.00.
Hate to hijack.....but can these be used on metal boats?
