The River Beautiful....

Terry and I went fishing with Danny today on the River Beautiful. We only saw one other boat on the river the whole day (an airboat). It was so peacrful and beautiful. We saw three huge gators that were a good 10 feet and possibly larger than 12 (hard to tell for sure) and a few smaller ones. Caught lots of fish thanks to Danny leading the way and showing us around and sharing some tips that work well in that area. Danny caught the majority of the fish. We had lots of laughs and just an all around awesome day.

Ended the day with 15 Crappie, 8 Warmouth, 1 redbreast and 1 black bass. Threw back and or lost various shad, gar, crappie, and perch.

I hope the crappie are still biting when we get back I'm a couple weeks. We want to go uo there again. Thaks so much, it was a blast!!

During the weekday's I know the solitude you speak of fishergurl in this area, nice mess guy's, water looks pretty low danny.

Yeah Jeff, a couple places were pretty shallow, especially one, had to adjust trolling motor way up to almost surface (slappin water) to get across, of course, coulda just got outta the boat and waded and pulled it across......
Wouldn't want to see it any lower, is pretty down now ..........

He walked on the trees, straddled that one tree to get back into all the nooks and crannies and holes... :-)

He was a great guide and he knows that river really well. He showed me how to jig and I even caught some fish jiggin which I never usually even try. I usually just stick to minnows and bobber. Can't wait to go back and fish there some,more. Bluegills and shellcrackers would be fun too!!
