I know you loose a lot of HP.... But..

I'm going for a small surface drive mudmotor when my current one dies. I'm tired of fixing it and tired of replacing sheered pins. Did I also mention there is no lower unit to smash?
You could check with your local mercury dealer, it would be a start, they may even be able to guide you in the direction you may need to go to find a used one.

I have used a jet for many years. They are used more in the mountains in the shallow streams. There are dealers in both Doniphan and
West Plains, Missouri
You may want to look at www.outboardjets.com Take a look at their FAQ page for some good info. Unless I'm wrong, they are the only manufacturer for outboard jet units. They supply all of the OEM jets units.Quote:
