First drop

Put my first brush out a week ago. I had a moss back rack, 2 porcupine spheres and a home made PVC one. The PVC was put in a 5 gallon bucket with some PVC joints so I could attach the stems on the lake. I got the name brand fish attractors for Christmas so I am not sure if I would purchase them myself unless they really produce. I've been following this site for a while now so hopefully I can help contribute some reports now that I got some of my own brush to fish.

Did you pick a "year-round" area or an area that fits a certain pattern or time of year??

Hope you scuff up the pvc before you sunk them, it will help the algea grow faster and better on them.

I've had better results with natural materials like wood. Let us know how your does.

I sanded them down with coarse sand paper. I'm gonna hit then tomorrow and they have been out two weeks. I'll let y'all know how I do.

Well we didn't have any luck first time we tried them. I guess we will wait a little longer and try them again. In the meantime I'm going to make some more out of milk jugs and drop them in a different part of the lake. I saw a good example on the sc forum to replicate.

Yea, us SC boys got some good ideas! "Now wait a *&%# minute!" Yea, I hear you other guys saying that. Hehehe. Just had to throw that in there. There are a lot of good ideas all over this forum from a lot of different places.

they will work just take a litlle longer to grow algea on them and i love the c.c sticker on the truck:ThumbsUp
