Painted tips
I pick up a new pole and like to get the tip painted. Dose anyone know how to paint them or am I stuck with it unpainted. I fished with a pole that had paint on tip and I could really see the bump on the pained tip to the unpainted tip. I know when I fishing with JW last week it sure show up better.
Anyone know where you get them Road Runners at in a bigger package then the 14 count that grizzly catalog has or is that the biggest pack you can get them in?

When I use to night fish, I would paint my rod tips white. I used a rattle can of spray paint.

Put masking tape on your tip before you spray it to keep it neat.

Mask off the tip of the rod before painting the top. Most any spray paint brand will do. I like Krylon.
I found some large count packs of Roadrunner jigs on ebay. Super priced if you're the only one bidding on them.

I look up Krylon the next time i go to the store. I did think about them arrow wraps. Did not think about ebay. I have to look to see what i can fine

Mask off the tip and the guides with small pieces of tape as far down as you want to paint. Spray tip with flat white primer, let dry good then spray with color you want. You don't have to but I spray mine with clear after that. Most of those florescent colors won't cover good without the under coat.
