Was getting something put of my safe and I came across this. It happened 10 or so years ago while I was duck hunting is Arkansas. I fell asleep and dropped my gun in barrel first, woke up and there were ducks all around me. Tried to ground swat the first un and BANG!!! Ducks flew off and I couldn't figure out what had happened for a second. I've been offered some decent money for the barrel but I believe I'll keep her. By the way, that is a magnum barrel.

A buddy of mine did the same thing to a rem 1100 barrel many years ago when we were maybe 19. We were also duck hunting

Nope, the only thing hurt was my pride. The guys in our club still give me grief over it.
