Very cool pcs. Just as an FYI to those who don't know, the dam is submerged in Lake Barkley now. http://goo.gl/maps/9eHM7 Note all the boats who believe in staying in the channel on Barkley!
I have fished Lake Barkley for years with my grandfather and others, and I NEVER knew there was a dam and locks in front of the prison. Thanks for the great pics!!
Justin,thats really cool picture.ive got one of the coffer dam in front of kentucky dam.if you dont care ill post a picture here in your thread.ive got a picture of the coffer before the lake was flooded also.
Kosmo, please post your shots. I like looking at them.There is another lock and dam farther south that is supposed to be intact. Next time I'm down that way I'll try to find it.

heres to pictures of the coffer dam out in front of ky. dam.it was used to divert the water during the buliding of ky. dam. i had and old picture that showed the coffer before the lake was flooded but i cant find it

Yea,i wanted to so the picture of the coffer before the lake was flooded.i guess i deleted it off to syber space
