Bittersweet
Day for me and my wife tomorrow. I took the day off so we can get my oldest daughter moved into school tomorrow. Hope I can hold myself together until after we leave her. Im proud but sad also. She has done good so far. Made very good grades all of school and got scholarship for first 2 years of college. Shes going into nursing. Gonna be hard leaving her there even tho she will be less than a hour away. Moms got her all kinda stuff packed up. I got a trailer load of stuff to haul tomorrow for her.

That's gonna be tough for sure. Good luck to you and your wife.

gdg, i know the feeling..........we took our youngest daughter yesterday to ole miss........it is bittersweet. my wife had a hard time with it, especially since its our last kid to leave the house. but, like i told my wife, it is a part of life we just have to adjust and get used to. good luck to your daughter and to ya'll!

Went through same thing 3 years ago and she is going back tomorrow for last year and it ain't a whole lot better today. But sure am proud of her though cause never figured we'd get this far. That first semester is the worst, they all get home sick in the first one. I think every kid she went off with wanted to come home after the first semester and some did. But after she went back for second semester it has been good and now caint wait to get back and get started. Just give her a great big hug and say a bunch of prayers over her and everything will be fine.

Been a long time since I went through that with my daughter but I remember how it feels. Stay strong, it'll get better.

It's tough for sure. All 3 of yours are about gone. One stops by a couple times a week to eat and wash clothes, bout it. She's the baby at 22. LOL BEER money? NAHHH, Mine was at TSUN and when I'd call her she was always telling someone to grab the handle of captain morgan out the truck of her car. I had to ask what a handle was, seems that's what they call a 1/2 GALLON OUCH
