Well I got off just a little early and headed for the water. The wind and temp was real nice. Decided to single pole this afternoon and found the fish hungry. Managed a nice box of fish and was coming off the water when the second round of showers was moving in on me. I did get wet but who cares when you can lay the smack on some fish in the rain. Yea bud I went out on a limb and single pole the Arkansas river. Just good eaters today no big barn doors. I was searching more new places and with the thunder storms coming and going I didn't want to be caught in the lightening So I single poled so I could pick up and move around the showers.

Thats a good mess of fish even without the "barn doors". I'd take that any day. I'd take that rain right now I can hardly get around my river.
We got a pretty good shower but they were short lived. We desperately needed the rain too.
