April slabfest

This is a short notice for the upcoming APRIL Slabfest.

The month of April seems to have a lot of conflicting weekends, so we are trying to schedule the slabfest for APRIL 7, 2012.

Location: Volusia County Park on Lake Monroe/St. Johns River. Expect to get confirmation on shelter rental TODAY FEB.21, 2012.

Yes, but that's how it has to be. Several of us have been working on a date when the most available people could make it and this was the best choice for April. It seems April is the month that babies are due, birthdays are happening, tournaments are being held, out of town trips are planned, house sitting, and lots of other stuff going on. I plan on being there, BUT I have stuff in the fire and might have to cancel at the last minute and turn the boxes over to someone else. Hope everyone can make it.

Here is the deal on the pavillion. 1 is reserved and the other is to remain first come first serve. Due to parking constraints they will not book both pavillions. So we can do it and hope to be the first to claim the other pavillion or use 1 of the smaller ones and bring chairs and such like Crescent.

With some of us getting there when they open the gates, we should be able to "lay claim" to the second pavilion by placing some of our "stuff" in there.

Rawhide is still on the Injured Reserve list...Maybe yall can talk him into coming down and Holding down the fort...Rofl
