New to Forum Old Man

Evening everyone, texasterry here. Finally retired after 45 yrs; 22 Submarine force, 23 Lockheed Martin Space Systems. Right off: THANKS to ALL Veterans on this board.

Margie and I moved back here to Texas one yr ago and are finally getting things together enough that fishing is becoming a mighty high priority! Plan on picking up a large jon boat that hopefully is rigged for panfish. The wife and I will then be able to get on the water. So far it appears that aluminum boats are being priced according to the prevailing gold market. Rofl

We'll just keep on checkin out all the sales forums and try to get one ready for next spring. We plan on fishing up at Rayburn / Toledo when the time is right.

Sure feels great to finally have a forever house and look forward to meeting you at the lake!
