Plastic Gurus Help? 2 part question

P1: I've taking a real liking to the Charlie Brewer Crappie Slider, and was wondering if I took some Liquid Minnow and added it to a bag of them sliders would this hurt anything? Hoping the plastic would soak up the sent?

P2: Does anybody have a sight selling their plastics? looking to try some new things but don't know what.

Some scent will effect plastic (like Gulp) and other scent will not. Best way is to put some plastic (five or six pieces) in a zip lock bag and add the scent. See how the plastic compares with some of the other after a week.

The liquid minnow is very sticky....I put it on my plastic baits while I am fishing.....It will appear to wash off rather quickly but the scent is still there...I freshen it back up about every 15 minutes.

have you tried to inject your sent into the plastic.

Bob, There is really no need to inject it....I works great just putting some on your plastic bait or jig. Slab has got it just the right thickness and stickyness that it works really well......and even when it looks like it has all washed off the smell is still there. I never go fishing without some in the boat.

There's a plastic jig maker up north of me he would add a scented oil to his mix when pouring, made some very popular ice fishing plastics..............

Now....a lot of plastic bait makers do that. There is also a commercial big name plastic bait maker that has some plastic baits now that are coffee flavored

The liquid minnow can be added to the bag without much effect, but as already mentioned it works fine just adding a dab to the jig when you use it.

is long is the order is still on it that is all that matters.we haven't tried to add any thing to our plastic baits. We've always wanted to but never got around to ordering anything to mix in try to keep the cost down to you guys.

one thing about adding anything to your plastic baits is I have never found anything that I really like is nothing is seems to be natural though they have a great many names on their stuff. But is it actually the real McCoy like per instance crawdad nightcrawler Schram and many other flavors. If you have smashed up a crawdad and took a whiff of that. I believe it would be quite different. I know for sure nightcrawler is very oily and they do have a odd smell like I've told you guys before the one I would truly love to have in Lake would form is Berkeley's crappie nibbles. We Thrown the nibbles in with my plastic baits and locked the sealed bag and left him for quite a while. They will take on the order but not like if it was actually in the plastic. We never ever go fishing without nibbles I buy that stuff by the case and we use them on everything including crank baits, even if I'm fishing plastic worms or what ever.
