I couldn't stay on plane so i was basicaly ideling except when I crested a wave I would gun it enough to keep the bow from spearing the next wave. To say the least the impacts were violent. I lost my trolling motor, my fish finder, and the hull basically cracked apart. One stringer was pushed completely through the hull of the boat and the split was about 6 feet long. The transom cracked out so bad that that it was set back about 2" from where it was supposed to be at the top. My wife was with me and she set in the passengers seat praying the whole time. I moved the boat as close as I could to the bank in case we had to abandon ship. We made it back in one peice and ever since I have owned custom boats. I will never buy another production boat.
