Tornado

Tornado hit my community this afternoon about 3:30 pm It took the entire roof rafters and all off of one neighbors house and dropped it out in a hay field. At my house it took both of my power poles down and one of them barely missed my truck, blew a few sheets of tin off the tractor shed...... I don't know about my barn down the road yet. just got my power back on....Got another neighbors shop and the guy next door it blew down a couple hundred feet of picket fence and took about a dozen big trees out. We were lucky and blessed that we did not have any more damage.

Wow, g, hate to hear that. Thank God no one was hurt and there was not any more damage. Its been a rough 24 hours for sure. You all will be in our prayers, holler if you need anything.

I hate to hear the bad news. I lucked out, we had tornados go a few miles north and south of us. Glad you didn't have more damage and mostly that y'all are okay.

Sorry for your loses David. Like Scott said we had tornados go to the north and south of us, just like the last bunch that came thru. Of course a lot of prayers went up from our home, the Lord has blessed us.

Yes SteveJ we were also blessed as well as G and them. We had a bunch of trees down and a lot of power lines down. Smithville about 25 miles Southeast of us lost half the comminuty. Lost some lives I think. Chickasaw county 30 miles south of us had it bad also. Baldwin Ms. also had it bad. We were deffinetly BLESSED.
