Well Snake and I were chew'n and spit'n about a shad beaver and this is one I made a year or so ago. its a hand pour mold but what do yall think is it something we should put into full production or just keep in our back pocket? I have caught a ton of fish on it Hands Clapping

Looks good Terry! But one thing I have to say is if you can catch a fish out of a mason jar I'm going fishing with you!
I am not much on the beavertails, but they are a heck of a good bait in some areas, I say if you have caught a lot of fish on them, and you feel like it would be worthy to make them, then by all means give it a shot. It never hurts to try. I think some people would really do well on them.
mo they look fantastic the one in the fruit jar looks a like a hot super bait if they are working for you keep on making them at first one looks kind that chewed up wanted to ask how you made them are these hand poured flat molds.
I have been using YUM wooly beavertails for probably 6 years now....great bait.

Mo, I fished Thursday in Alabama with the paddle tails I got from you. water was a little stained, started out with other plastics and the bite was slow, switched to purple/chartruese paddle and the bite was good.tried other colors but they wanted the purple
after putting 12-15 in the boat my fishin partner started diggin in my box, so I am low on the purple will have to order soon LOL

p.s. I turned my paddle the other way, never tied it verticle will try that next time
That can be a good bait at times. I have not fished any beaver tails this year but I also turn the tail so they run horizontal.
It's always good to have a few in you tackle box, or in my case tackle bags!
i tell you ive caught a ton of em in that jar but the fishing pressure sure will shut em down :) the water is always crystal clear, must be spring water lolQuote:
