I have never heard of it, do you have a website link???
Yep.
DrDepth - Sea bottom mapping software
Basically it creates a database of depth and position info from a depth sounder with nema output. Using the data, you can create 3d surface plots of the lake bottom. Also, with Lowrance units you can use the map info to create maps for the Lowrance unit itself. Don't know about others, but I've rarely seen commercially available maps that were very accurate as far as depth contours. I might have to buy the basic package just to play with.
With Dr Depth you can make very accurate depth maps, they have a electric motor very small that you hook up to transducer put in ice fishing hole and then make a circular depth map-like pie pan shape do lake in sections, bays hottie spots, I believe you can size these out to the side imaging distance on your sibut Low & Hb if memory???? serves me correct. Actually this is how we use si in winter by mounting to a short length off PVC then running this pvc thru 2 upside plastic buckets with a hole in their bottom exact size of that PVCthen gluing on PVC 4 way fitting so ducer shaft cannot side out bottom which is? right the old top of the bucket. Then slowly & evenly turn ducer in circle & you got Si pictures just like in boat.
Ducer don't sit still goes a round in circle, HB997.....
